Our Family began making premium chocolate more than 60 years age. The confectionary shop Grandpa ran was a favorite stop for chocolate lovers vacationing at the New Jersey Shore. After he retired to Florida the pleasure of Grandpa's Butter Crunch and other chocolate delights was limited to what we made at home for the Holidays.

Over the last few years our daughter "Miss Amanda" has become part of the candy-making process in her own special way. Although Amanda is handicapped, her curiosity and joy at candy-making time became an inspiration. Grandpa's chocolate became the answer to our enduring concern for our special daughter's future well being.
