I'm Kathleen Salvo owner and founder of Heavenly Chocolates. I hope you have read our unique story. My second child, Miss Amanda, has a very rare disease called Rett Syndrome. It is a condition, which robs little girls of their abilities to talk, use of their hands and most often the ability to walk. Rett Syndrome appears in "normal" girls between 12-18 months of age. This is devastating. Unfortunately, I know. Miss Amanda is now 21 years old and a major light in my life.

Therein lies the connection between Heavenly Chocolate and Rett Syndrome. I am using Heavenly Chocolate as the vehicle to create a future for Miss Amanda and other handicapped individuals as well increase public awareness of Rett Syndrome. Heavenly Chocolate has recently launched a fundraiser with the International Rett Syndrome Association (IRSA) to work hand in hand for our girls' future. For every lb
of Heavenly Chocolate's Walnut or Almond Butter Crunch sold by IRSA members, $12.00 will be donated to the organization.
